Uses: Ayurvedic system of medicine as a nerve tonic to promote mental health, improve memory and intellect and to promote youthful vitality and longevity. Bacopa monniera and Centella asiatica, are both sometimes known as Brahmi. Anxiety (studies suggest as effective as benzodiazepine drugs), neuroses, irritability and insomnia associated with stress. Study, poor memory and concentration, work-related mental fatigue. Asthma and bronchial spasm and/or inflammation.
Dosage: 2-10g dried herb/day, or standardized extract (40% bacosides) 300-500 mg/day
